Description of Works

Rain of Light

Year: 2026. Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm. Technique: Oil. Code: FS_2026_002. Luminous strands emerge from the thick darkness, falling silently, like rain that does not wet but passes through. The black matter absorbs and retains, while the light engraves, digs, leaves traces: each drip is a moment that falls and remains. It is neither sky nor night, but an interior space in which light becomes an event. It passes through the darkness without cancelling it out, revealing that even in the deepest black there is a passage. A visual meditation on the contact between matter and presence, where light does not illuminate: it happens.

Shackleton

Year: 2026. Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm. Technique: Acrylic / Textured. Code: FS_2026_003. A glacial landscape opens up like a wound in the material: deep crevasses, hanging ice walls and a milky light that seems to hold its breath. In the dark heart of the mountain lies the ship imprisoned in the ice, a fragile and stubborn presence amid immensity. Inspired by the epic deeds of explorer Ernest Shackleton, the painting does not depict a real geographical location but an inner state: the courage of endurance, waiting, the silent struggle against the insurmountable. Ice becomes memory, light becomes hope and matter itself seems to resist dissolution. A tribute to human perseverance in the face of infinite whiteness.

Panspermia

Year: 2025. Dimensions: 60 x 60 cm. Technique: Acrylic / Textured. Code: FS_2025_003. With ‘Panspermia’, the artist tackles the theme of origins, exploring the possibility that life is a cosmic journey, a seed scattered throughout the universe in search of a place to take root. The title, borrowed from a scientific theory, finds a poetic and visionary rendering here: life as a golden spark suspended in the deep blue of space. The work develops in a magnetic balance between darkness and light. The intense, textured blue dominates the scene, evoking primordial mystery, the fertile abyss from which everything is born. The dense, layered brushstrokes create a landscape that is both cosmic and marine, in which the depth of colour becomes vital substance. Gold, used wisely, illuminates the composition like germinal energy: small explosions, trails and symbols that seem to mark the presence of life, its silent passage through time and space. The forms a spiral, a mark, a fragment of light intertwine like traces of a universal memory, of a connection between the infinitely large and the infinitely small. The full-bodied texture and chromatic contrasts give substance to a profound creative tension: the painting does not represent, but generates. ‘Panspermia’ is an act of cosmic birth, a hymn to life that expands beyond all boundaries, reminding us that we too are stardust travelling towards new possibilities.

The Pathway to the Stars

Year: 2025. Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm. Technique: Acrylic / Textured. Code: FS_2025_004. With ‘The Pathway to the Stars’, the artist takes us on an upward journey, where the pictorial material is transformed into energy and colour becomes a trajectory towards infinity. The work vibrates with a dynamic and warm force, dominated by reds, oranges and golds that evoke the fire of creation and the vital tension of movement. The title suggests a path, a road to the stars, and the pictorial sign constructs it visually: a current of light that crosses the canvas, breaking the static nature and drawing the gaze upwards. The organic, almost geological forms seem to merge the earthly and cosmic dimensions, as if the rock itself wanted to free itself from gravity to become sky. Gold and white, present at the points of maximum intensity, represent enlightenment, the arrival at knowledge and transcendence. The thick, dense paint conveys the idea of a world in turmoil, where life flows like lava, transforming and regenerating everything it touches. The work embodies a profound spiritual tension: not a simple movement in space, but an inner ascent, a desire to transcend the limits of the visible. “The Pathway to the Stars” is a hymn to the quest, to the human journey towards the light, where colour becomes the language of the soul and the canvas a gateway to elsewheree.

Balanced Connections

Anno: 2025. Misure: 70 x 50 cm. Tecnica: Acrilico. Codice: FS_2025_001. “Connections in Balance” is a work that represents the harmony of energetic connections as the foundation of inner and universal equilibrium. The vertical composition evokes the axis of being a continuous flow that moves through every level of existence, linking matter, emotion, thought, and consciousness. The central circles, inspired by the seven chakras, become nodes of energy in constant dialogue. From them extend fluid white lines, resembling roots, veins, or luminous currents, suggesting interdependence: nothing is isolated, everything is relationship. Each color retains its own identity, yet finds meaning only in balance with the others. The chromatic progression from red to violet narrates a journey of elevation, from the primordial strength of the earth to the most subtle and spiritual dimension. The textured, vibrant background amplifies the sense of movement and continuous transformation. The work invites reflection on the importance of balanced connections: when energy flows without obstruction, harmony emerges. “Connections in Balance” is a symbolic map of being an invitation to rediscover alignment, integration, and awareness among all parts of oneself and with the whole.

Rebirth

Year: 2024. Dimensions: 40 x 40 cm. Technique: Oil. Code: FS_2024_002. In ‘Rebirth’, the artist celebrates the cyclical nature of life, the constant tension between matter and spirit, between birth and transformation. The work presents itself as a cosmic map in which the human figure, placed vertically on the right-hand side, acts as a bridge between the earthly and universal dimensions. The figure, steeped in a vibrant, primordial red, seems to receive a breath of golden light that connects it to a system of orbits, spirals and ancient symbols. The golden thread that runs through the entire composition thus becomes a metaphor for the vital energy that flows through all things, an invisible link between the body, the soul and the cosmos. The spiral at the centre of the work represents the heart of the process of rebirth: a vortex that absorbs and restores, a symbol of eternal return and inner growth. The solar and lunar spheres, the balance of yin and yang, and the flows of water and colour evoke the harmony of opposites that come together to generate new life. The powerful and dynamic composition combines symbolic precision with chromatic emotion: reds and golds express vitality and transformation, while blues and greens bring calm and introspection. Everything moves in a continuous cycle, where nothing is lost but everything is renewed. ‘Rebirth’ is a hymn to renewal, to the awareness that every ending contains a new beginning. A work that speaks of the courage to be reborn, to rediscover oneself through light.

As above

Year: 2024. Dimensions: 40 x 60 cm. Technique: Acrylic / Textured. Code: FS_2024_001. In ‘As above,’ the artist merges the earthly and cosmic domains into a single harmonious vision, where colour becomes the language of creation. The work opens on two levels: in the lower part, vigorous, undulating flows of colour evoke the earth, living matter, the primordial pulse; in the upper part, luminous, transparent spheres multiply like celestial bodies, suns and planets in perpetual dialogue. The title suggests a spiritual parallelism “as in heaven, so on earth” which is translated into painting through the correspondence between the organic forms of the soil and the suspended geometries of the firmament. The brushwork is dense, almost sculptural, but the composition maintains a poetic balance, where earthly energy rises until it is transformed into light. The work conveys a sense of universal unity: every element, from the green of vegetation to the blue of the sky, is part of the same cosmic breath. Colour does not divide but unites. Everything that exists, from atoms to stars, is reflected in a visual and spiritual continuum that celebrates the profound connection between man, nature and infinity. “As above” is a symphony of colours and meanings, a hymn to the totality of existence, where painting becomes prayer and form becomes light.

Resurrection

Anno: 2023. Misure: 50 x 50 cm. Tecnica: Olio / Materico. Codice: FS_2023_003. In “Resurrection,” matter becomes flesh and spirit at once. The work captures the instant of rebirth that suspended moment in which life re-emerges from silence and expands, still fragile yet luminous. The central figure, suggested rather than defined, evokes a body opening itself to the light or perhaps a soul rising from matter. The brushstrokes are dense, decisive, almost sculptural: the color is not merely applied but carved, incised, scratched, as though each layer contained a fragment of time and experience. Ochre, gold, and turquoise tones meet in a vibrant balance, symbolizing the dialogue between earth and sky, corporeality and transcendence. The light emerging from the center of the composition is not only chromatic but emotional an inner force pushing upward, toward revelation. The artist does not portray resurrection as a religious event, but as a universal act of regeneration: a return to life, to awareness, to breath. “Resurrection” is an intense, intimate, spiritual work. It is painting itself that rises again, renews itself, and becomes a testimony to the continuous becoming of the human being.

UniVerse

Year: 2023. Dimensions: 25 x 30 cm. Technique: Oil. Code: FS_2023_002. In ‘UniVerse’, the pictorial material becomes pure energy, an explosion of cosmic forces that seem to collide and merge in a single creative act. The dense, full-bodied texture, achieved through masterful use of the palette knife, gives rise to a vibrant movement that runs across the entire surface, making the painting alive, almost breathing. The intense, contrasting colours clash and embrace each other: red (symbolising passion, life and vital impulse) penetrates the deep blue, evoking space, mystery and inner silence. Between these polarities, golden light is born, a warm, pulsating core that seems to encapsulate the very principle of creation. The artist thus constructs an abstract landscape that is both cosmic and intimate, an external universe that reflects an inner universe. The directions of the brushstrokes, the material reliefs and the trajectories of the filamentous reds suggest dynamism, impact and rebirth. It is like witnessing the genesis of a star or a thought taking shape in the mind. “UniVerse” is a celebration of life in its most primordial essence: energy in transformation, chaos generating harmony. A work that invites the viewer to lose themselves in colour and find themselves in light.

Underwater Worlds

Year: 2024. Dimensions: 25 x 30 cm. Technique: Acrylic. Code: FS_2024_004. In ‘Underwater Worlds’, the artist explores the hidden dimension of existence: that which lies beneath the surface, where life proliferates silently and forms intertwine in an almost musical rhythm. Deep blue dominates the scene like a cosmic ocean, while sinuous lines of green move like algae, veins or thoughts, drawing an organic and mysterious choreography. Golden and celestial spheres emerge like submerged planets or bubbles of consciousness rising from the depths. The contrast between gold and blue creates an elegant tension between matter and spirituality, light and abyss, suggesting that even in the darkest depths there is a spark of beauty and knowledge. The work moves between abstraction and symbolism: the plant forms are reminiscent of both natural growth and the flow of vital energy, while the blue space seems to expand like an inner sea or a submerged universe. In “Underwater Worlds”, silence and movement, lightness and density, roots and cosmos coexist. It is an invitation to look beyond the visible surface, to delve into the mystery that nourishes all forms of life where darkness does not conceal but protects.

Masquerade

Year: 2018. Dimensions: 100 x 60 cm. Technique: Acrylic. Code: FS_2018_005. The work emerges from a reflection on the masks we wear in different situations of life: roles, defenses, and constructed identities that often conceal our most authentic essence. At the base of the painting, three serpents intertwine, symbolizing inner forces that guide the human journey: love, as the energy that unites and generates; spirit, as the drive toward awareness and truth; and determination, as the silent force that sustains transformation over time. These energies do not oppose the mask, but move through it and transform it. In their continuous motion, they open a space of revelation, where identity ceases to be a construction and becomes presence.

The Thinker

Year: 2023. Dimensions: 60 x 50 cm. Technique: Oil. Code: FS_2023_004. In ‘The Thinker’, light does not settle: it explodes, penetrates, radiates like a revelation. The work is constructed around an upward movement that leads the gaze from bottom to top, where a golden beam opens like a mind opening up to knowledge. The dense, textured brushstrokes seem to be carved rather than painted: the palette knife engraves the colour deeply, as if the artist wanted to seek in the gesture the same intensity of thought that analyses, excavates and reconstructs. Yellow and ochre dominate the scene, creating an atmosphere of warmth and awareness, while greens and blues emerge like fragments of reality reflected in consciousness. The title “The Thinker” suggests a figure that is not represented but perceived: the human being who contemplates, who questions, who allows inner light to shape their vision of the world. There is no face, but an echo of presence: thought becomes landscape, the mind becomes horizon. This luminous and profound work synthesises the dialogue between reason and intuition, between pictorial matter and the spiritual dimension of knowledge. It is a silent invitation to reflection, an enlightening moment that becomes painting.

Universes and Worlds through Acts of Thought

Year: 2021. Dimensions: 60 x 50 cm. Technique: Acrylic. Code: FS_2021_002. ‘Universes and worlds with acts of thought’ is a cosmic journey into the multiplicity of existence, a visionary representation in which colour becomes a universal language and the circular shape is transformed into a symbol of connection, energy and birth. The work unfolds like a mosaic of orbits, galaxies and planets intertwining in continuous motion. The warm shades of red, orange and yellow evoke the creative power of primordial fire, while the cool tones of blue and purple introduce a contemplative, spiritual, almost musical dimension. In this dialogue of contrasts, one perceives the idea that each world has its own vibration, but that all are part of a single cosmic rhythm. The composition, complex yet harmonious, shows a remarkable mastery of visual balance. The circular elements, repeated like a mantra, generate a pulsation that recalls both planetary orbits and the spirals of the soul. The fluid consistency and variety of brushstrokes suggest movement and depth, as if to draw the observer into a parallel universe where space and time dissolve. ‘Universes and worlds with acts of thought’ is a work that invites reflection on the concept of multiplicity and unity: each circle is a world, each world is a reflection of the other. The artist’s vision manages to combine scientific and spiritual dimensions, suggesting that matter and consciousness are perhaps two sides of the same expanding reality.

Sufi Dancer

Year: 2019. Dimensions: 40 x 50 cm. Technique: Acrylic / Textured. Code: FS_2019_007. The work ‘Sufi Dancer’ comes across as an explosion of centripetal and spiritual energy. The eye is immediately drawn to the vortex of colours radiating from the centre, a luminous nucleus that seems to pulsate with a life of its own. The textured, layered brushstrokes create a hypnotic rotating movement, evoking the mystical dance of the Sufi dervishes, a symbol of union with the divine through the rotation of the body and soul. The warm tones red, orange, yellow and gold emanate warmth, ecstasy and spiritual passion, while the contrasts with blue and indigo at the edges create depth and breath, like a cosmic echo surrounding the inner dance. The three-dimensional texture accentuates the sensation of energetic vibration, as if it were a spiritual magnetic field that attracts and draws the viewer into the sacred movement. In the centre, the white light emerging from beneath the layers of colour represents the point of fusion between body and spirit, matter and transcendence. It is as if the painting itself wants to dissolve into the purity of the gesture and the silence after the music. This work is not only a visual representation but a sensory experience: it invites us to meditate on the rhythm of life, on inner search and on the connection between the microcosm of the individual and the macrocosm of the universe.

L’apres midi d’un Faune

Anno: 2019. Misure: 50 x 50 cm. Tecnica: Acrilico / Materico. Codice: FS_2019_005. In “L’après-midi d’un faune,” the artist transforms visual impression into painterly music, rendering on canvas the same poetic suspension evoked by Mallarmé’s celebrated poem and Debussy’s prelude. The work unfolds within an atmosphere of dream and desire, where form dissolves into color and matter becomes emotional vibration. The composition, dominated by warm, twilight tones, is crossed by flashes of light and rosy reflections emerging from the darkness, like a melody gradually taking shape. The palette knife both constructs and dissolves at once: the barely suggested white figures seem to dance or surface from memory, witnesses to a time suspended between the real and the imagined. At the center, the most luminous figure stands out like an apparition perhaps the faun himself, perhaps a symbol of the sensuality and nostalgia that permeate the entire scene. The dense, vibrant materiality of the color suggests an inner landscape, a place where nature and myth merge. The work captures the essence of the faun’s afternoon: not an event, but a state of the soul. The boundary between dream and reality fades, and the viewer is invited to be carried away by the slow rhythm of light, the breath of memory, and the intoxication of art that evokes rather than explains.

The Mirror

Year: 2019. Dimensions: 80 x 40 cm. Technique: acrylic. Code: FS_2019_006. The painting draws inspiration from a scene steeped in spirituality: four Buddhist monks, seen from above, engaged in the composition of a mandala. Days of patient work are dissolved in a few moments during the ceremony of its destruction, the supreme symbol of impermanence. This ritual reminds us that nothing is eternal, that everything is born and dissolves in the natural cycle of existence. The work thus becomes a mirror of the soul: an invitation to reflect on the value of detachment, on the acceptance of change and on the profound meaning of our passage on earth.

Danger

Year: 2021. Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic. Code: FS_2021_003. In ‘Danger’, the artist crafts a powerful and ambiguous vision, where the charm of antiquity blends with a subtle sense of unease and mystery. The scene, dominated by incandescent reds and golden oranges, unfolds like a symbolic landscape in which the pyramid (emblem of eternity and knowledge) emerges from burning ground, crossed by barely perceptible shadows and presences. Colour is the absolute protagonist: the pictorial material becomes magma, desert, sunset and fire all at once. The warm tones, worked with energetic brushstrokes and dense overlays, create an almost apocalyptic atmosphere, while the contrasts of light heighten the tension between the sacred and danger. Gold and red, combined with deep black, construct a visual language that evokes power, seduction and destruction. The pyramid, with its summit illuminated by a white triangle, becomes a symbolic focal point: it is the place of knowledge and mystery, but also of human ambition and fragility. In the background, engravings and marks recall hieroglyphics, memories of a lost language that survives as an echo of vanished civilisations. The title “ Danger” suggests that knowledge, beauty and power, like fire, can be creative or destructive forces, depending on the perspective of those who wield them. The work thus becomes a reflection on the relationship between man and mystery, between the desire for light and the risk of dazzlement. “Danger” is a magnetic vision, suspended between myth and modernity, where painting becomes a terrain of revelation and warning.

The Lake

Year: 2018. Dimensions: 50 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic / material. Code: FS_2018_004 The painting depicts a lake at sunset, when the reflections on the water capture every colour of the sky and the surrounding nature. The deep blue blends with the bright green, as if the liquid surface were constantly changing. The orange and yellow touches are flashes of light, sparks that interrupt the apparent calm, as if the water were breathing. Looking at it, one has the sensation of being in front of a natural mirror that does not reflect faithfully, but interprets, transforming reality into pure emotion.

Rudy

Year: 2026. Dimensions: 120 x 60 cm. Technique: oil on canvas. Code: FS_2026_001. Inspired by Rudolf Nureyev, this work depicts the price and greatness of absolute dedication to art. The body suspended in space expresses strength, tension and abandonment at the same time: it is the result of rigorous work, extreme discipline and radical choices that often lead the artist to solitude. The figure leans upwards as if trying to overcome human limits, embodying the daily sacrifice necessary to achieve perfection. Every muscle is a memory of hours of study, sacrifice and isolation, all concentrated in a gesture that lasts a millisecond but encompasses an entire life. The vibrant, textured background amplifies the idea of energy and transcendence, while the dancer’s gesture becomes a symbol of an unrepeatable moment. The work invites us to reflect on the importance of the moment: it is there, in that fragment of suspended time, that art is accomplished and eternity manifests itself.

Another World

Year: 2025. Dimensions: 60 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2025_002. “Another world” is a work that depicts the silent encounter between two beings and a planet still undergoing transformation. The figures on either side, distant and mirrored, observe a world in evolution without intervening, like conscious witnesses to a process that must unfold autonomously. In the centre, the expanse of rocks like skyscrapers and walls stands as a clear barrier between heaven and earth. Architecture, a symbol of human ingeniousness but also of its need for control, interrupts the natural dialogue between the two dimensions, creating separation, distance and rigidity. Above, the sky remains fluid, energetic and vital; below, the earth retains organic and pulsating forms, a memory of an origin that is still alive. The work reflects on the growth of civilisations and the price of progress: as the observed world structures and defends itself, it risks losing touch with cosmic harmony. Another world invites us to question the direction evolution is taking and how necessary it is to rebuild a balance between what we build and what we are.

Starlight

Year: 2024. Dimensions: 50 x 60 cm. Technique:oil on canvas. Code: FS_2024_003. Starlight is a work that depicts a new birth on the ruins of ancient civilisations, in a landscape marked by time, destruction and memory. The being at the centre of the scene emerges as a hybrid and conscious creature, generated by what has been and projected towards what can still be. Around him are layered fragments of past worlds: architecture, symbols, suspended human gestures, like traces of civilisations that sought order, power and knowledge. Above, the sky is crossed by fluid and visionary forms, matter of thought and cosmic consciousness, where the stars become language and guidance. The crystal, placed as a central element of connection, is the point of balance between earth and sky. It guards invisible harmonies, channels the light of the stars and allows the being to rediscover a connection with the universe, beyond chaos and ruin. It is not an object of domination, but of listening and agreement. The work suggests that, even after the collapse of civilisations, a form of life capable of reconnecting with the cosmos can arise, restoring balance and harmony. The light of the stars is a vision of rebirth, in which the memory of the past becomes the foundation for a new universal consciousness.

Pegasus

Year: 2023. Dimensions: 100 x 70 cm. Technique: oil on canvas. Code: FS_2023_001. Pegasus is a work that overturns the collective imagination linked to a figure, Medusa, often reduced to a symbol of cruelty and danger, restoring her tragic and deeply human origins. Medusa was a beautiful priestess of Athena, consecrated to the purity and silence of the temple. Her transformation into a monster was not a fault, but a punishment: after being raped by Poseidon in the sacred place, she was punished by the goddess for the desecration, deprived of her beauty and transformed into a creature with a petrifying face and hair made of snakes. The snakes thus became a symbol of imprisonment and isolation. Medusa was forced to live separated from the world, unable to be approached, unable even to return a glance without condemning those in front of her. Her monstrosity did not stem from evil, but from pain, injustice and imposed loneliness. From her death, however, Pegasus is born, the semi-divine winged horse, symbol of rebirth, freedom and transcendence. The presence of Pegasus is evoked by the arrangement of the stars in the sky in the work, as if the cosmos itself held the memory of Medusa and her final transformation. Ultimately, her head becomes a weapon: no longer an instrument of personal defence, but an object of power in the hands of others, a further sign of a life used and never truly redeemed. The work invites us to reinterpret the myth as a story of violence and punishment, but also of transformation: from the deepest pain, something eternal can be born. Medusa is not only a monster, but a victim who, through tragedy, generates myth, power and memory.

The Art of Courage

Year: 2018. Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2018_003. “The Art of Courage” is a work that depicts the search for truth as an extreme and necessary act, a journey that involves the risk of crashing against one’s own limits in order to overcome them. The central character, naked, advances defenceless: nudity becomes a symbol of total dispossession, of the abandonment of masks, fears and certainties in order to go beyond the boundary. The cage and the wall represent internal and imposed barriers, while the vultures, placed above, are the silent guardians of the limit, stern observers of those who dare to challenge it. The dense, textured clouds evoke the complexity of thoughts, the mental chaos that accompanies every radical choice. The work suggests that true courage is not the absence of fear, but the willingness to face it, even at the cost of an impact, in order to get closer to a more authentic truth.

The Sun

Year: 2018. Dimensions: 50 x 30 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2018_002. “The Sun” recalls the archetypal meaning of the Sun card in the tarot: the principle of life, clarity and revealed truth. The large sun dominates the scene, radiating a warm and enveloping light that nourishes the tree, a symbol of growth, rootedness and continuity between heaven and earth. In its light, purity and the works of man coexist harmoniously: the simple and united human figures represent innocence, trust and a shared journey, while the traces left by man bear witness to human activity under the same sky. The sun does not judge, but illuminates everything indiscriminately, making visible what is authentic. The work suggests that only through the light of consciousness and truth is it possible to give meaning to both inner nature and what man creates in the world.

The Salt of the Earth

Year: 2019. Dimensions: 70 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2019_004. The Salt of the Earth is a work inspired by the human and artistic journey of Sebastião Salgado, witness to the great wounds of the world but also to its possible redemption. As in the photographer’s works, the painting arises from a gaze directed at desolation, ruin and the harshness of reality, represented by the grey, worn and fragile background, a sign of destruction and abandonment. In contrast, the intense and vibrant colours that occupy the scene become an expression of the beauty that man is still capable of creating. They are traces of life, culture, identity and resistance, which emerge even in the harshest contexts. The work suggests that, despite the ugliness documented and experienced, there is a deep hope in human beings: the ability to generate meaning, colour and dignity even where everything seems lost. “The Salt of the Earth” is an act of faith in humanity, an invitation to recognise that even in the cracks of the world, the possibility of salvation can still arise.

Music And Me

Year: 2019. Dimensions: 50 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2019_001. Music and Me is an intense and introspective self-portrait in which the artist explores the deep connection between identity and music. The face, fragmented by textured marks and overlapping layers of color, conveys a living and vulnerable presence, shaped by emotions, thoughts, and inner stratifications. The headphones become the symbol of an intimate and protected space—an inner realm where music acts as a source of inspiration, refuge, and creative drive. Through sound, the artist isolates from external noise in order to enter into dialogue with the self, transforming listening into introspection. The energetic and irregular brushwork reflects the rhythm of music and the flow of thoughts, suggesting that creativity arises precisely from the meeting between deep listening and authentic expression. Music and Me thus becomes the portrait of an identity that is shaped and revealed through music—the universal language of the soul.

The Swan

Year: 2019. Dimensions: 50 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2019_003. “The Swan” is a work inspired by The Dying Swan, a choreographic solo created by Michel Fokine to the music of Camille Saint-Saëns’ The Swan, taken from The Carnival of the Animals. The piece is a tribute to the beauty, elegance, and dignity that accompany life’s final moment. The dancing figure emerges from a deep, nocturnal background, as if suspended in time, while the movement of the body expresses a conscious and poetic farewell. The swan, symbolically embodied by the dancer, does not struggle against the end but passes through it, transforming it into a harmonious gesture. Every line, every tension in the body conveys grace and control, celebrating life precisely at the moment of its departure. Dance becomes a ritual—an ultimate act of beauty and awareness. The work suggests that even an ending can be luminous when experienced with elegance and truth: a final movement that is not defeat, but a celebration of the very essence of existence.

Andromeda

Year: 2020. Dimensions: 50 x 70 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2020_005. Andromeda is a work set in the Teatro Andromeda in Santo Stefano di Quisquina, a place suspended between earth and sky, where architecture and cosmos engage in symbolic dialogue. The figure at the center stands on a threshold, between two columns that mark a passage, while before them opens the vastness of the Andromeda constellation—a metaphor for the infinite and the unknown. The ground beneath their feet lies fractured and unstable, a sign of dissolving certainties that make the leap inevitable. It is not a fall, but an act of trust: the abandonment of earthly limits in order to reach toward something greater. Light and cosmic space draw the figure forward, suggesting an irresistible inner call. The work captures the precise moment when a human being, stripped of secure footholds, chooses to go beyond, transforming risk into possibility. Andromeda thus becomes a symbol of the passage from the human to the cosmic, from the finite to the infinite.

The Tree of Life

Year: 2020. Dimensions: 60 x 80 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas, sand, Etna volcanic ash. Code: FS_2020_006. The Tree of Life is a work composed of four distinct panels that, when joined together, form a single symbolic vision: the origin of life arises from the balance and interaction of the four fundamental elements—earth, fire, air, and water. Each panel represents one element and is created using a technique consistent with its essence. Earth is expressed through a textured painting made with actual soil, dense and tangible, the root and foundation of all forms of existence. Fire takes shape through the ashes of Mount Etna, a living and primordial material that carries within it the volcano’s destructive and generative power. Air is evoked through thin, essential brushstrokes—light and in motion—suggesting breath, thought, and the invisible. Finally, water is fluid and enveloping, with rich, deep colors flowing across the surface like vital currents. The tree, extending across the four panels, becomes a symbol of connection: its roots sink into matter, its trunk passes through the elements, and its branches expand into space. The work invites us to recognize that life exists only through the harmony of diverse forces, united in a fragile yet essential balance. The Tree of Life thus becomes a celebration of nature as an interconnected system, in which every element is indispensable to the others.

Casta Diva

Year: 2020. Dimensions: 30 x 40 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas Code: FS_2020_004. Casta Diva is a work inspired by the interpretation of Maria Callas, a symbol of a perfection that in art is not coldness, but absolute intensity and emotional truth. The face, solemn and frontal, evokes an almost sacred dimension, where every detail becomes a ritual gesture and an act of consecration. The gaze is steady, deep, suspended between the human and the divine: it is the space where Callas’s voice transforms into prayer, capable of elevating the soul beyond time. The rich and luminous ornaments evoke the sacredness of song and the rigorous discipline required to achieve excellence. The work suggests that artistic perfection does not arise from the absence of fragility, but from their sublimation. In Casta Diva, art becomes the place where the human is transfigured, reaching a form of absolute and uncompromising beauty.

Roberto

Year: 2020. Dimensions: 100 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2020_003. Roberto is an intimate and deeply emotional work, dedicated to the artist’s brother, a great musician who passed away far too soon. The portrait, essential and direct, conveys an intense and silent gaze filled with presence despite absence. The piano that runs through the figure becomes a symbol of music as an extension of the soul, a language that continues to live beyond time and matter. The word Legend is not a rhetorical celebration, but a sincere acknowledgment of a talent and a bond that death cannot break. The work also emerges as a necessary act of letting go of pain: painting becomes a gesture of processing and release, a way to transform loss into shared memory. The background, delicate yet vibrant, envelops the face like an affectionate presence made of memories, emotions, and music that continues to resonate. Roberto is an act of love, farewell, and eternity.

The Big Theatre

Year: 2021. Dimensions: 60 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2021_001. “The BigTheater” is a work that portrays human existence as a vast staged performance, unfolding across multiple levels, where humanity struggles, falls, dies, and is reborn in an endless cycle. Each level represents a phase of life: struggle, sacrifice, illusion, hope, and faith in “earthly” divinities—constructed by human beings themselves to give meaning to their journey. The figures, reduced to archetypal silhouettes, act as unaware performers in an eternal drama, repeating gestures that transcend time. Above, a dominant presence appears to govern or observe, while at the center a doorway opens toward infinity—a mysterious, inevitable, and unknown passage that no one can truly comprehend. The work suggests that even while aware that ultimate truth remains beyond reach, humanity continues to believe, to fight, and to begin again. “The Great Theater” thus becomes a powerful reflection on the human condition: an existence lived upon the world’s stage, suspended between the need for certainty and the inevitable attraction to the unknown.

A Faun

Year: 2019. Dimensions: 50 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2019_002. “A Faun” is a work inspired by the grace of Nijinsky, an icon of a form of dance capable of uniting formal purity with inner tension. The figure emerges from dense, fragmented matter, as if the body were sculpted from the chaos of emotions and desires. The faun, elegant in gesture and movement, embodies an ambiguous beauty: grace coexists with pride, harmony with restlessness. Lost in his own impulses, the character dances within a space that is not a refuge but a mirror of his interior world, where instinct prevails over restraint and desire becomes the dominant force. The work thus offers an intense and fragile image of the human being, capable of expressing sublime beauty even while imprisoned by personal contradictions. “A Faun” is both a celebration and a reflection on the subtle line that separates grace from disorientation.

Lights and Shadows

Year: 2017. Dimensions: 40 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2017_001. “Lights and Shadows” represents the search for balance between light and darkness as an essential condition of existence. A suspended, nocturnal landscape forms the backdrop to two opposing towers—one white and one black—symbols of complementary polarities. Two human figures climb them while pulling the same kite, which remains balanced only through their shared tension. No force prevails over the other: stability arises from the coexistence of opposites. The work suggests that harmony does not come from choosing a single direction, but from the ability to keep light and shadow in dialogue.

The Flower of Life

Year: 2018. Dimensions: 40 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2018_001. “The Flower of Life” is an ancient and universal symbol representing the origin of all life forms and the harmony that governs the universe. Its perfect geometry, composed of interconnected circles, expresses the idea that everything that exists is interrelated—part of a single energetic matrix. In the painting, the Flower of Life emerges from a dark background like a luminous source of order and knowledge. Warm and cool colors alternate and interact, evoking the balance between opposites: light and shadow, masculine and feminine, matter and spirit. The central circle becomes a vital nucleus, the point of origin from which everything expands and to which everything ultimately returns. The work invites contemplation and meditation, suggesting that behind the world’s complexity lies a harmonious and intelligible structure. “The Flower of Life” is not merely a geometric form, but a symbolic language that speaks of unity, creation, and the profound connection between the human being, nature, and the cosmos.

Lotus Flower

Year: 2020. Dimensions: 80 x 60 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2020_002. “Lotus Flower” is a work that evokes the primordial energy of the seven chakras, translating it into a geometric and chromatic composition of strong balance and harmony. Like the lotus flower a universal symbol of rebirth and awareness the artwork emerges from its center and expands outward, suggesting a journey of inner elevation. Its vivid and pure colors represent the seven energy centers: from the red of the root chakra, associated with matter and survival, to the violet and light blue tones of the more subtle dimensions linked to spirituality, intuition, and connection with the greater whole. Each section interacts with the others, revealing how the harmony of being depends on the balance among all energies. The circular and symmetrical structure reinforces the idea of unity and cyclicality: nothing is separate; everything is interconnected. “Lotus Flower” invites contemplation and meditation, reminding us that spiritual growth arises through the integration of body, mind, and energy just as the lotus blooms in purity even from the deepest waters.

MT

Year: 2020. Dimensions: 50 x 50 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas. Code: FS_2020_001. This work is grounded in the language of sacred geometry, evoking a symbol of transformation and inner power. The central structure, composed of interconnected triangles inscribed within a circle, recalls the idea of balance between opposing and complementary forces: matter and spirit, stability and movement, the visible and the invisible. The circle represents unity—the whole—the sacred space within which transformation takes place. The triangles, oriented in different directions, allude to the fundamental principles of creation and the continuous dialogue between energies. The three-dimensional form suggested at the center becomes a nucleus of concentration, a point of passage and awareness. The dominant red color evokes fire, vital force, primordial energy, and the alchemical process of change. The green textured encrustations along the edges introduce the theme of natural transformation, oxidation, and time, as if the work were a living artifact shaped by organic processes. Taken as a whole, the painting invites contemplation and centering: it is a symbolic map of inner energy, a reminder of the human capacity for transformation—rediscovering harmony through knowledge and the balance of one’s own forces.

The wheel of time

Year: 2026. Dimensions: 150 x 100 cm. Tecnica: Acrilico. Code: FS_2026_004. “The Wheel of Time” presents itself as a sculptural installation set within an art gallery—a rational, geometric, almost metaphysical space. The polished floor reflects the monumental structure, amplifying the illusion and suggesting that what we observe is not merely form, but a threshold. At the center stands a great golden wheel, marked by cracks and the wounds of time. It is cut—like by an invisible fracture—from one to seven o’clock: a line that interrupts the apparent perfection of the circle, insinuating that the cycle is not closed, that an escape exists, however hidden. Within the wheel moves a multitude of imprisoned souls, overlapping, indistinct, compressed into an eternal return. They inhabit another dimension, a plane suspended between life and stasis, as if time itself had become matter. Guarding this metaphysical mechanism is an ambivalent figure: a Zeus/devil—green, muscular, ancient yet demonic. He is not merely a guardian, but a principle—the force that governs the cycle, the custodian of endless repetition. Yet inside the wheel, in a further inner space, a hooded figure can be glimpsed. Solitary and withdrawn, this presence contemplates a blank canvas. It does not fight or attempt to break the mechanism. Its gaze is directed toward emptiness—toward possibility. The white canvas becomes a symbol of purity of thought, of awakening consciousness. It is the silent guide toward the exit: not an external savior, but an act of awareness. The meaning of the work is rooted in the human condition. The wheel is not only time, but the mental pattern—the cycle of habits, fears, and inner repetitions. The guardian, ultimately, is ourselves: the part that fears change and prefers eternal return to the vertigo of freedom.

The piece draws inspiration from a visionary experience lived by a close friend of the painter, who remained in a coma for months. During that suspended time, he experienced several visions; in one, he found himself in an art gallery where The Wheel of Time was displayed as a sculpture. He knew that if he entered it, he would remain trapped. Yet he could not resist: he crossed that threshold and remained imprisoned for an immeasurable span, until something—perhaps the very awareness embodied by the hooded figure—set him free. The wheel, therefore, is not a final condemnation. It is a trial. A passage. Both delirium and revelation. “The Wheel of Time” does not speak of hell, but of the mind. It does not represent punishment, but a cycle that can be broken. The fracture cutting across the circle is the sign that every eternity contains a breaking point. And the way out is not outside the wheel. It lies within the gaze.

The fire of Rome

Year: 2026. Dimensions: 100 x 70 cm. Technique: acrylic on canvas, gesso Code: FS_2026_005. Under an arch reminiscent of the monumentality of Rome, Nero and Poppea touch each other in a moment suspended between desire and destiny. The light that envelops them is not only revelation, but combustion: the fire of love, absolute and all-encompassing, already contains within itself the omen of destruction. The passion that unites the two lovers becomes a metaphor for the fire that burned Rome: an unbounded energy, capable of overwhelming all balance. The figure of Nero, played by a woman in accordance with the tradition of Monteverdi’s opera, emphasises the divine power of the daimon Eros, who frees human beings from the blind cultural conditioning to which the body is subjected. Furthermore, love expressed through two female bodies, without diminishing its undoubted beauty and authenticity, unwittingly becomes a metaphor for the dangerous link between power and seduction, fragility and domination.
